Are the Made to Measure Shade Sails waterproof?
The HDPE material is not waterproof. The 200GSM polyester has been treated to be waterproof, as long as the shade sails are installed correctly. Can I have a straight edge sail with D rings in the corner?
No, the sails need to have concave edges to allow for the sail to be tensioned. The concave edges are not as deep as our ready-made shade sails, and you can see some examples of this in the pictures on our Made to Measure page and Customer Gallery - DIY Made to Measure Shade Sails. -
Can I have Made to Measure Shade Sail with corner eyelets only?
No we do not offer this as a service. The eyelets are fixed directly into the material of the shade sail seam, and so need to be placed at regular intervals to make sure the weight of the sail is distributed evenly. What is the delivery timeframe?
Your Made to Measure Shade Sail should be delivered within 5 to 10 working days from when we receive payment, although we do ask you to allow up to 15 workings days in case there are any delays whilst the sail is in transit -
What is the guarantee period for the Made to Measure Shade Sails?
The Made to Measure Shade Sails come with a 1-year guarantee for any manufacturer faults. This will not apply where the sail has not been installed correctly or alterations have been made to the sail. -

What UV protection is offered?
All material options that the shade sails are made from offer up to 98% UV protection. Please note the 180GSM HDPE is a woven material with tiny holes, so sunlight can still come through.
