Our parasols are considered weatherproof - this means it will keep you dry during a very light or quick shower, but the umbrella is mostly for providing shade and we don’t recommend you leave it up during heavy rain.

What UV protection is offered by the parasols?
Our supplier has advised that there is little or no UV protection when using garden furniture parasols. They may shade you from the suns rays but an adequate sun protection must always be used when exposed for long periods. -
What UV protection is offered by the shade sails?
Our sails are treated to be UV protective, and we say up to 98% - they have been tested, and are certified UPF 50+ We must stress that like any parasol or garden umbrella, the suns rays can move and bounce around especially near reflective surfaces such as water so we recommend still covering up...
