The measurements provided are tip to tip and include the D rings sewn into each corner, where applicable. All of our sails are cut by hand so please allow a small margin of error in the measurements we provide.
The shade sails with curved edges do have a reduced shaded area, but is necessary to make sure the sails have the correct structural tension.
Please also remember you always need to angle exterior sails correctly so that when it rains, the water runs off rather than pooling in the middle. If square or rectangle, two of the corners will need to be positioned lower than the others and if a triangle, at least one of the corners.
When measuring for your sail, don't forget to include the size of your chosen fitments, and allow for tensioning space, where necessary.
Information about measuring and installing the sails can be found in our Installation Guide.
